The Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival in Entebbe
Approx. distance: 10–20 km depending on airport/arrival point

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and welcome by the safari team. You will be transferred to your hotel on the shores of Lake Victoria.

The remainder of the day is dedicated to relaxation after your international journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy the hotel's facilities or take a leisurely walk around the surrounding area.

Day 2 — Relaxation & Leisure in Entebbe
Approx. distance: Minimal / local transfers

A relaxed day in Entebbe to recover from your journey and prepare for the safari adventure ahead. Lake Victoria provides a beautiful setting for a leisurely day — relax at the hotel, enjoy the gardens and swimming pool, or explore Entebbe at your own pace.

This relaxed start ensures the safari begins comfortably rather than immediately following a long international journey.

Day 3 — Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls
Approx. distance: 470 km

After breakfast, depart Entebbe and travel northwards to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to Uganda's protected population of southern white rhinos, for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot with an experienced ranger.

Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest national park, and proceed to the spectacular Top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile is forced through a narrow gorge before plunging into the valley below.

Day 4 — Murchison Falls: Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Approx. distance: 80–100 km of game-drive routes

Rise early for a morning game drive through the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, looking out for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kob, hartebeest, waterbucks and, with luck, lions and leopards.

After lunch, a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of the falls, where the riverbanks attract hippos, crocodiles, elephants and numerous bird species.

Day 5 — Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest & Chimpanzee Tracking
Approx. distance: 330 km

Travel south to Kibale National Park through rural landscapes and traditional villages. After lunch, an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest — renowned for its exceptional chimpanzee population, alongside red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus, blue monkeys and forest birds.

Day 6 — Bigodi Wetland – Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kazinga
Approx. distance: 160 km

A guided nature and community walk at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, observing primates, butterflies and birdlife. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's most famous savannah park, for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel — renowned for its concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and water birds.

Day 7 — Queen Elizabeth – Ishasha – Tree-Climbing Lions
Approx. distance: 75 km

A morning game drive towards the southern Ishasha sector, famous for the legendary tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, topi, Uganda kob, hippos and birdlife. An afternoon game drive continues the search, especially for lions resting in the fig and acacia trees.

Day 8 — Ishasha – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Approx. distance: 140 km

An early morning game drive in Ishasha before continuing to the mountainous landscapes of southwestern Uganda and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most important habitats for mountain gorillas. Arrive at your lodge and relax ahead of the following day's highlight: gorilla tracking.

Day 9 — Gorilla Tracking Experience – Lake Bunyonyi
Approx. distance: 80 km

One of the major highlights of the safari: mountain gorilla tracking. After a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, the trek begins through the dense Bwindi forest in search of a habituated gorilla family, followed by time observing them in their natural habitat.

After the trek, depart for beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, surrounded by terraced hills and numerous small islands.

Day 10 — Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park
Approx. distance: 260 km

Travel through the scenic countryside of southwestern Uganda towards Lake Mburo National Park. After lunch, an afternoon/evening game drive in search of zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, warthogs and giraffes — Lake Mburo is one of the best places in Uganda to see large numbers of zebra and antelope.

Day 11 — Lake Mburo: Nature Walk & Boat Cruise
Approx. distance: 30–40 km within the park

A guided nature walk with a trained ranger for a close-range view of wildlife, tracks, plants and birds. After lunch, an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo — excellent for viewing hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and waterbirds.

Day 12 — Lake Mburo – Equator – Jinja
Approx. distance: 280 km

Depart Lake Mburo towards eastern Uganda and Jinja, with a stop at the Equator for photographs. Continue through Kampala towards Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda, on the northern shores of Lake Victoria near the source of the Nile.

Day 13 — Jinja: Full-Day White-Water Rafting Adventure
Approx. distance: 20–30 km / local transfers

A full day dedicated to adventure: after a safety briefing, a full-day white-water rafting experience through the spectacular rapids of the River Nile, combining adrenaline, river scenery and calmer stretches to relax.

Day 14 — Jinja – Kampala City Tour – Entebbe
Approx. distance: 130 km

Travel to Kampala for a city tour discovering Uganda's vibrant capital and its major landmarks, then continue to Entebbe for your final night in Uganda at Lake Victoria Hotel.

Day 15 — Entebbe: Airport Departure
